Privacy statement

Draft — to be checked before launch.

JamSesh works on your computer, without an account. This page says which personal data we do handle, why, for how long, and what you can ask of us.

Who is responsible

The controller is JamSesh (el Quiosco VOF), A van Olphenstraat 4, 8331 SN Steenwijk, the Netherlands, KvK 93762402. Questions about your data: support@getjamsesh.com.

What we keep, and why

Personal data per purpose

Lost code formThe e-mail address you type in; we look it up and mail the code to that address if it bought JamSeshContractNothing extra is kept beyond the purchase record above, apart from short-lived counters that stop abuseCloudflare, Resend
Problem reportsThe e-mail you write to support@getjamsesh.com: your address, your description and anything you attach, such as a diagnostics file or a screenshotYour consent, given by sending the e-mailAs long as needed to help you, at most 2 yearsCloudflare (Email Routing), Google (the mailbox we read it in)
Update checksYour IP address, which GitHub sees when JamSesh asks for the file that says whether a newer version existsLegitimate interest: keeping you up to date and safeNothing stored by usGitHub

You can switch the update check off in the app.

Problem reports are e-mails you send

JamSesh sends no reports by itself. Help → Report a problem… lets you save a diagnostics file on your own computer and opens a mail to us; you look at it, add or remove what you want, and send it yourself. Only then do we receive anything. Diagnostics files contain program logs and technical information about your system, not your music.

The app and the website

Outside the EU

Some helpers are American companies (Cloudflare, Resend, GitHub, Google). They receive data under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses (SCCs). Mollie is a Dutch company.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, or to object to our handling of it, and for a copy you can take elsewhere (portability). Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time. Erasure does not reach data we must keep by law, such as bookkeeping records.

To use a right, e-mail support@getjamsesh.com from the address concerned. We answer within one month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
