Beta status
JamSesh is in beta. We update daily during the beta. Here is what to expect.
Works
- Studio: recording, timeline, piano roll, effects, VST3 and CLAP plugins, export
- Live looper, DJ decks, library, projects, autosave and crash recovery
- Trial, purchase code and in-app updates
Experimental
- Online jam over the internet depends on the host's router: JamSesh asks it to open the way (UPnP). On a router that refuses, it shows the steps to do it by hand. On a home network it just works.
- AI agents (MCP): assistants like Claude can make music in JamSesh when you switch it on. How it works.
- Voice recognition: humming into melodies and beatboxing into drums work well on clear input and still miss notes sometimes.
- DJ controllers and MIDI devices: many work through the mapping wizard, but we have not tried every model.
- Plugins: VST3 and CLAP run in their own process, but not every plugin has been tested.
Not yet
- ASIO audio drivers (WASAPI for now)
- Ableton Link
- Mac and phones
